Generac 8 kW Home Standby Generator Maintenance Kit. This kit is compatible with models produced before May 2013. It includes an air filter, oil filter, spark plugs, oil funnel, chamois, and reminder sticker. Regular maintenance at every 200 hours or 2 years ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your generator. If operating in a dusty environment, more frequent maintenance may be necessary. Refer to the generator owner's manual for specific maintenance intervals. Synthetic 5W-30 oil is recommended for temperatures between -20 and 1,100 degrees Fahrenheit, 10W-30 oil for temperatures between -10 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit, and SAE 30 oil for temperatures between 32 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
